Hybrid training combines multiple fitness disciplines—typically endurance training (like running) with strength training. It's designed to build well-rounded athletes who excel in multiple physical domains rather than specializing in just one.
Trainee is built specifically for hybrid athletes who do both running and strength training. While you can certainly log only one type of workout, you'll get the most value from the app if you're training across both disciplines.
Trainee automatically detects personal records when you log workouts. For strength training, we track PRs at various rep ranges (1RM, 3RM, 5RM, etc.) for each exercise. For running, we track your fastest times at standard distances (mile, 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon).
Currently, Trainee supports manual entry and CSV export. We're working on integrations with popular fitness platforms like Strava, Garmin, and Apple Health. These features are on our roadmap for Pro users.
Yes, we take data security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Firebase for authentication and data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security. We never sell your personal data.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your billing period. Your data is always yours and remains accessible even after downgrading.
Trainee is built as a progressive web app (PWA), which means it works beautifully on mobile browsers and can be installed to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap.
